Can't delete files also getting 0x80070057

I'm able to delete all files I try except files ending in .tib (Acronis True Image). I get the error You require permission from Admin to make changes to this folder. I can delete other files in this folder, also able to add new files there. That folder along with the root have security of Everyone Allow Full Control. These tib files were created by the standalone bootable Acronis program in case there is a question. I would expect normal permissions would be inherited with this standalone program. If I try to copy these files, I get An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the folder...Error 0x80070057: The parameter is incorrect. If I copy, sometimes I get a file created with a size of 0 KB.If I move this hard drive to Win 7, I can do anything I want to all files. Can anyone advise me as to how to manipulate these files? Thanks. I sure wish Windows had a permission:Able-to-do-anything-to-file. WINVER says I'm running V 1703, Build 15063.483

    :)
