Windows 10: CAN'T DELETE FILES IN FILE EXPLORER SAYS "NO LONGER LOCATED IN"

Discus and support CAN'T DELETE FILES IN FILE EXPLORER SAYS "NO LONGER LOCATED IN" in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; These files/pictures came on my new computer, NOT MINE.     CAN'T DELETE FILES IN FILE EXPLORER SAYS "NO LONGER LOCATED IN"


    These files/pictures came on my new computer, NOT MINE. Can't delete. Says "no longer located in". What is this? I didn't ask for all these files clogging my computer.

    Windows Explorer crashing due to large files

    It's an .exe right? Explorer probably read its icon (to a cache) when it was a "small" file and now call the quits when it finds "such a big" file.

    If you want to delete it, use the console after killing explorer, you can run the console from TaskManager (Application -> New Task -> cmd). You might want to try copy the file to a different location (copy, not cut) and see if explorer can handle it in the new location before deleting it.

    Files in mediaplayer on W7

    I have some files listed on my windows media player library showing that are no longer on my hard drive. It will not let me delete them for some reason. Waht can I do to get rid of these? I right click, asksme if I want to delete when I click on delete, but nothing happens after that. Obviously the files cannot be accessed when the location no longer exists, any ideas?

    Cant Delete Files From Desktop

    Well, ran into a weird bug with vista, for some reason i cant delete files from desktop, this normaly happens to .exe files, the ONLY fix seems to be to KILL explorer.exe, and delete the file, then restat explorer, anybody got any idea why this happens?
