Windows 10: Can't delete folder

    I did what you told.

    “C:\WINDOWS\system32>DEL I:\Instaled Software\Can't delete

    The system cannot find the file specified.”

    Then It show this message. Then I tried this.

    “C:\WINDOWS\system32>RD/S "I:\Instaled Software\Can't delete"

    It shows like this. This folder contains sub folders and in the folder properties show file size is 0 bytes.

    I run cmd with admin powers and this folder has these file permissions

    List folder contents

    Try safemode and see if you can delete from there.

    I'm trying to delete a folder on my desktop.
    When I try, I get "you don't have permission".
    I read in some older posts, that the way to do this right click the folder and select Take Ownership from the context menu.

    Problem is my context menu doesn't have Take Ownership in the menu.

    I went through all that and restarted my computer still no take Ownership.

    I'm not sure about the merge part. When I double clicked the "Add_Take_Ownership_to_context_menu.reg" on my desktop nothing happens.

    When you right click on the .reg file, do you have a "Merge" option?
