Windows 10: Cant delete local disk created by file vault on bitdefender

Hi


I wanted to try out the file vault system on bitdefender. It created a local disk on my computer and i want to get rid of the local disk but when i delete it through bitdefender it doesn't delete the disk. I've tried computer management but the drive doesn't even exist. Help Please

To isolate the issue, we would like to know the current build number and version of your Windows. Regarding the 2nd account that you have seen, we recommend that you check the user accounts on your computer, please follow these steps:

• Open the File Explorer.
• On the right pane, click on Local Disk (C
• Click on Users folder.
• If Username.ComputerName is not even listed, you can delete it.

To know if the issue is a corrupted user account, we suggest that you create a new local user account
and check if you are able to see your apps and files.

Hi Himanshuyadav, sure, if you are happy you have all your files after that update, you can delete that folder . . .

You need to run Disc Cleanup twice as follows:

Open File Explorer

Click on your hard drive

On the Manage Tab, click Cleanup

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete

Start Disk Cleanup again

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

This time in the resulting dialog, click 'Cleanup System Files'

Let Disk Cleanup run another scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete
