Windows 10: Can't delete text messages on my Pixel 2 XL on the Your Phone App on Windows 11

I have a new HP Laptop with Windows 11 Home Pro. I have followed the instructions and have successfully linked my Pixel 2 XL to the Your Phone App on the laptop. I have given all the permissions possible on my phone. I can send and receive messages from both devices. Message sent on phone is visible on the laptop and vice versa. If I delete a message on my phone the message remains on the laptop. I don't even see any option for deleting a message on the Your Phone App. Having this working would really be nice and I have tried everything I can find with no change. Recover text messages deleted by Lumia?

Thank you for your suggestion. I did use that app since my phone deleted 2 months of text messages (as mentioned in my previous message).

But still, I find it weird that:

• we don't have a clear access to our data, only a 3rd party app allows us to back it up
• there is no "undo", no "trash": a delete seems immediate and definitive: it's certainly not the way of the cloud (where you often have a grace period to retrieve what was deleted)

Anyway, although I enjoyed Windows 10 Mobile for a lot of things, the way text messages are handled is clearly not one of them, especially since the push for Skype integration, although it is clearly buggy as hell (whereas the built-in messaging app would
have been perfect to sync between PC and mobile).
