    Can't delete this program folder polaris office


    So, Polaris office doesn't exist on my computer. There is no executable. It doesn't show up in setttings>apps, or 3rd party uninstallers. But there is a folder that remains in program filesx86, with files inside. When I try to manually delete the folder, I get "this action cannot be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program", yet this isn't true. I even checked task manager, and there's nothing with polaris in its name.I'm pretty sure polaris came pre-installed with this laptop. And I'm also pretty sure I uninstalled it a while back. Any advice on how to get

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused Can't delete this program folder polaris office :confused:

    Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well Can't delete this program folder polaris office :eek:hwell:

    Hidden folders

    I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

    When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

    I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    have you tried using safe mode to delete it? i dont know what you had in it, but i have tried to delete files that said they had nothing in them from the program files folder and it said "DUNK" and NO but i was able to delete them from safe mode
