    What the title say. I am trying to free up space on my C Drive to have enough room to install the oversized new Windows update. While using a scan that shows were all of my file size is, I found a huge folder titled "Windows Apps" that takes up about 9 Gs of size. I didn't install them, have never used them or given permission, and they don't show up on installed programs. Tried going through Microsoft store and still can't uninstall them. Am now trying to just delete the files, but it keeps saying "you require permission from name here to make changes to this file". I have changed who owns

    I also tryed safe mode, it still didn`t work on it. and Glucofacts Deluxe STILL does not work, so... you say that you don`t know how it started working on win 10 for you?

    I deleted all my data. I had have it backed up.

    I did a clean installation using the windows media creation tool (usb option).

    No, I didn`t. I thought a clean installation would solve the problem.

    After posting my previous message, I did it.

    After chkdsk, I close cmd and tried to boot and the laptop just turned it off. This morning I`ve restarted it and automatically windows did a repair. Windows has booted and it seems that the repair tool has removed chrome and acrobat pdf reader (the only two programs I had installed after reinstalling windows).

    Now Windows is installing updates and restarting my lapop, I`m kind of frightened. I don`t want it to happen again. Anyhow, I want to know what has brought the issue

    I`ve been looking for information about the error code at the end of the picture and I didn`t get anywhere.

    Can`t install new programs, "Windows Installer" can`t be accessed

    Hello there,
    since a few days I can`t install new programms on my Windows 11 Pro. The installation will startup, but then there will be the error
    "Windows Installer can`t be accessed"
    I tried to search online for solutions, but most were for other versions of Windows or didn`t work for me.
    msiexec.exe is running and set to manual. I tried closing it and also unregistering and re-registering.
    If anyone knows a solution or what could have started it, please help Can't delete Windows Apps that I DIDN'T install, don't come up on my installed programs,... :)
