  1. Can't delete/wipe/format my ssd.

Hi all,So, for a bit of background, I have a PC specs: AsRock h310cm-dvs, SSD kingmax 480 GB, HDD Seagate Barracuda 2 TB that runs Windows 11 then, out of a sudden, I got a blue screen with the error INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, showing up every time I booted up the pc. I left it like that for around 20 minutes and then it solved for itself, the PC booted into Windows, but then if for example, I tried deleting something, or downloading something, as soon as I rebooted my PC, the file simply reappeared/disappeared like it had forgotten that I ever did something to it in the first place

    :)

    Can't delete/wipe/format my ssd.

Hi CatalinArmasaru, I am honored to receive your consultation, I will try to help you solve this problem!

According to your description, ssd has a problem. Would you like to confirm whether ssd can still be used?

First of all, I suggest carefully checking the SSD interface and connecting line to confirm that it is not a connectivity fault.

Next, I suggest using several methods to confirm ssd

1, Windows low-level formatting command format again

Right-click the Start button (Microsoft icon button) →Windows Terminal (Administrator),

    → Input:

    diskpart

    list disk

select disk #(#refers to the hard drive letter you want to format)

    clean

    create partition primary

format fs=ntfs quick (If you want t,ou can also change ntfs to fat32)

    exit

    2. The third-party tool DiskGenius formatting, please refer to the software description for the method.

If it still can't work after this treatment, it is recommended to send it to a professional organization for repair or abandonment.

I hope the above advice helps you! If not solved, please feed back relevant information and pictures

  3. Can't delete/wipe/format my ssd.

    Hi all,

So, for a bit of background, I have a PC (specs: AsRock h310cm-dvs, SSD kingmax 480 GB, HDD Seagate Barracuda 2 TB) that runs Windows 11 then, out of a sudden, I got a blue screen with the error INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, showing up every time I booted up the pc. I left it like that for around 20 minutes and then it solved for itself, the PC booted into Windows, but then if for example, I tried deleting something, or downloading something, as soon as I rebooted my PC, the file simply reappeared/disappeared like it had forgotten that I ever did something to it in the first place (it also started saying "Restart to repair drive errors" as a notification, but when I clicked it and restarted it, the message still popped out), (when the pc booted it said fixing drive C, but it was stuck at 100% complete, and then just simply booted)

Bonus, I also got some other blue screens, like "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION"

I tried to reinstall Windows 10 on it with the installation media tool (from Windows), but it got stuck at 70% then it crashed, so I tried doing it with a USB (from Bios), but this time when I deleted the partitions, they simply didn't want to delete (I had the option to delete them, but when I clicked it, it refreshed the page but nothing happened)

From here, I decided to install Windows 10 on my other HDD, and it worked (so I guess there aren't any issues from bios), it is running perfectly fine, except for the part where I get the same error with "Restart to repair drive errors" (the error goes away if I unplug my SSD from the PC)

    Other fixes that I tried:

    • I tried deleting/formatting/wiping the SSD from disk management, but as soon as I delete them, they simply come back after a refresh.
    • I also tried running diskpart and deleting the partitions from my SSD with it, but the same story, it just didn't want to delete it. The closest I ever got was getting an error code from diskpart (69e647863686b2e 1449).
    • I began thinking that the SSD might be write-protected, so I searched for fixes for that. I tried running "diskpart", only this time with the command "attributes disk clear read-only". Diskpart came out with "attributes cleared successfully", but the problems persist.
    • I also thought that there might be some issues with my SSD, so I installed a program called "Hard Disk Sentinel", the program told me that I had 74% SSD health and that nothing was wrong with it
    • I also tried to wipe/format/delete the partitions with a program called "EaseUS Partition Master", but it got stuck at 95% and then it gave the error "There are some error occured while writing partition chains on disk"
Now, my final question, is there a way to fix all of this, or should I just buy a new SSD? I don't think the SSD is broken, since "Hard Disk Sentinel" tells me that I have 76% health so what should I do?

    Can't delete/wipe/format my ssd.

    Ssd wont format

    Hello there. This is Emily.

I assume you are installing from the ISO flash drive right? If so, at the step where it asks you where to install Windows, instead of using the format option, use delete option instead. Delete every partition listed for the SSD. It might say Drive 0 or Drive 1, etc, but you should be able to tell which drive is your SSD based on the size. Once all partitions are deleted, you would be given one unallocated space. That's the one you can select, then click next for Windows to install.
