Windows 10: Can't detect other screens after an Windows Update

Hello,


Yesterday, after an Windows update, I stopped being able to duplicate my laptop screen to a TV screen and when in Settings/Display, the Detect button simply doesn't find any other displays.


I thought of uninstalling, but the option for that one KB4559309 wasn't available as it was for other updates, I don't understand why....


Then I thought maybe there was already a new update that could solve the problem, so I searched and another update was installed KB4497165, but the problem persisted.


I then restored the system to a previous version and currently those two updates are not on the "Installed updates", but still I can't detect the TV screen and duplicate.


Any idea on what I should do?

Windows 7 x64 not detecting GTX295

Background
I installed the 295 and it was not detected. So I downloaded 181.22 for Vista x64, but those drivers didn't work for gaming (CTD). So I installed a GTX 8800 and it was detected and drivers installed automatically from Windows Update.

Now I put the 295 back in, and it installed and was able to run games. However, the nVidia control panel was not available, suggesting that the drivers hadn't installed properly... So I deleted the drivers and rebooted. And... again it lists my 295 as a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" and a "3D Video Controler", but no drivers can be found by Windows Update.

Question
1) Is there anywhere I can download the Windows 7 x64 drivers and install them manually?

2) Any idea how I can get Windows 7 to recognize my GTX295 so that it can download the proper drivers.

3) Have you had the GTX295 install automatically in Windows 7 x64?

 

Windows phone is not detecting

I suggest you to connect the phone to another computer and check if it gets detected. Also, check if the phone gets detected by connecting with a different USB cable.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
  
• Click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

Motherboard can't detect new graphics card

Well one step ahead*Big Grin
After a long testing the card is now detects by the bios after some restarts. It successfully boots windows and I installed the drivers too. The problem is still when the system boots/restarts it restarts several times to show post screen.
