Windows 10: Can't Diagnose PC Lag In SteamVR

When I run SteamVR on my Meta Quest 3 using Airlink, I experience lag that comes in waves. Sometimes when I’m not in a SteamVR game, it doesn’t lag. The issue is my PC because when I’m playing the same game but on standalone Oculus, it doesn’t lag. The lag usually starts when I play a game called Rec Room on SteamVR. I am trying to find out what I need to do to my PC to make Rec Room in SteamVR not lag. The PC components I have are listed below. GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XTRAM: 16 GBCPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core ProcessorI already tried watching YouTube tutorials on how to reduce lag in SteamVR,

steamvr problem on win 10 after creators update

Hello,

the problem is, when you try to launch steamvr on pc after it stayed idle for some time, pc becomes very laggy, steamvr starts with 5fps after 1-2 minutes delay and mouse cursor freeze during that time. If you start steamvr right after pc restart, it launches
immediately without lags as it should and as it was before creators update.

So Microsoft, why do you release untested software?

How can I rollback to pre creators update without reinstalling windows?

PC requirements vary for available apps & content on Steam. Please see the minimum requirements per title. Additionally we've found that running SteamVR on a PC with a GTX 1070 video card (or equivalent) and an Intel Core i7 processor on the latest version of Windows works well with a broad range of SteamVR applications.

If your PC does not meet these specs you won't be blocked from running Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR however this may impact the performance and quality of the overall experience.”

Getting Started
