    Can't disable Driver Signature Enforcement on advanced startup.


    So this is my 14th or 15th time attempting to disable the driver signature enforcement so I can use motioninjoy to install my PS3 Controller driver to use for Rocket League. However, every time I run advanced startup, the process goes rather slowly before loading up my options. No worries at that point, but when I finally end up at the screen that has the options f1-f9, f7 being the disable driver enforcement, my computer immediately shuts off immediately after loading all of the options. I have no idea why it just shuts off... sometimes it shuts off just before it loads all of the options, but I have never been able to disable the driver signature enforcement thus far.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi. What's the OS of your PC? In case you're using Windows 8.1, you may
    disable driver signature enforcement. Here's how:

    • Go to PC settings > Update and recovery > recovery > Advanced startup and tap Restart now.
    • Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup settings and tap Restart
    • Press 7 or F7 (Disable driver signature enforcement)
    • Right click Lumia Software Tool icon on the desktop, and select Run as Administrator.

    Hi Dyllan,

    Since you have tried many troubleshooting methods with no luck, we recommend you to boot Windows 10 with
    driver signature enforcement disabled. To do so, kindly follow these steps:

    • Restart your PC while holding down Shift.
    • On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options and click Startup Settings.
    • Click Restart to restart your PC into the Startup Settings screen.
    • Press 7 or F7 at the Startup Settings screen to activate
      Disable driver signature enforcement mode.
    • Driver signature enforcement is now disabled and it will remain disabled until you enable it back on the
      Advance boot option.

    Let us know if this enables you to install unsigned drivers.
