Windows 10: Can’t do anything on my account without having to verify, and microsoft is not sending me...

Hello. Today I was greeted with a Bitlocker screen on my laptop, I try to access my keys and microsoft wants me to verify my identity using my phone number. I type it correctly and yet I get no code? I’ve tried this over and over with no luck until I found that my phone number was never added to my account, so I tried to add it and it asked me to send a verification code to my phone number. It didn’t work the first time so of course it isn’t going to work again. I tried adding an extra email to my account and it’s asking to send my verification code to my sms… I don’t know what going on?! It i

Also, I would suggest you to switch current Microsoft User Account to Local Account and then create new user profile and then try signing into that account using your Microsoft account and check if
that helps. Please follow the steps given below.

How to update windows Live Accounts into Local Accounts in windows 8.1

  First go to the Start Menu and start typing “Account” you will find the option “Your account settings”
  
• 
  Click and launch the setting page.
  
• 
  Click on start menu and go to account settings.
  
• 
  Go to Your accounts.
  
• 
  Click “Disconnect” Windows 8.1 account settings
  

Note: This will launch a prompt, you will need to confirm your current Windows Live account password. Also note by switching to your local accounts,

• When you say that "verify my account", are you trying to verify old live mail address on the computer? Are you trying to verify the device in the user account settings of Windows 10?
• When you say that "I sign in to my Microsoft account with my outlook.com e mail and password", are you signed in as Outlook.com account or Live mail address on the computer? Which account is configured as user account on the computer?
