    DISM - Parameter "Cleanup-Image" is not known (error 87)

    Hello Eric,

    To troubleshoot your concern, we suggest that you run DISM Restore Health command. Refer to the steps provided below:

    • Open Command Prompt (Administrator).
    • Type the following command:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    3. Press Enter.

    dism scans

    Hi, I found out that my win.10 is 64 bit,home edition,version 1703. The message received on the dism scan is that it isn`t supported. Thanks for your expertise on this, appreciate.

    Error 1392 while running dism /online /cleanup-image

    Hi Lauryne,

    In order to help you with your concern about the error 1392 that you are getting, kindly answer these questions first:

    • Have you made any recent changes to your computer prior to getting this issue?
    • Did the System File Checker scan showed you an error? If yes, kindly post it here.
    • Aside from the SFC scan and DISM, what other troubleshooting steps have you tried?
