Windows 10: Can't download anything

Hi,

I am not able to download any of my own files. At first I thought the problem was limited to Google Chrome, as I was trying to download my own file from Google Drive and I kept getting the Download failed due to virus thing. I subsequently tried using EDGE and cannot even download an attachment from my hotmail account using Edge.


I have followed several threads on this that are locked and NONE of them worked for me today. I cleared history. I cleared cookies. I went to the internet settings on windows 10 and went thru the charade of following the step by step help, including the one about scrolling to misc. and policies and adding a folder called attachment, blah, blah, blah.


I have signed out, signed in. I have restarted my computer 4 times today. I uninstalled McAffee.


I am self employed and my files on my drive need to be accessed and I need to be able to work today. CAN SOMEONE HELP? With real help and not just another stupid thing to try (my favorite suggestion so far: pick multiple files and download at once and it works! - which of course did not work!).


By the way, on Friday, I was able to download - so this is new for a Monday. (Now 1pm EST and I have not been able to work ALL DAY!)

New here and seeking for help: problems with graphic card

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.
