Windows 10: Can't download apps off the Microsoft Store

When I try and download any app it says it's trying to download and when it says "acquiring license" it stops and gives me an error code numbered 0x80070005. There's an old forum discussing this issue and I've tried everything there, from running system checks, deleting and reinstalling the Microsoft store and even redownloading windows altogether. I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

In case that the troubleshooter didn’t help on this matter, we suggest that you reset the Microsoft Store. Kindly follow the steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to run the command box.
• Type WSReset, then try downloading the app again.
