Windows 10: Cant download Chrome because it keeps saying I'm in Safe Mode

I just installed Win10 new. Install went well and performed all updates after. The Desktop looks normal. Computer starts up normal and quickly. No 'Safe Mode' in the corner or any signs at all that I'm in safe mode. However, when I go online through Edge and try to download Chrome, it keeps saying that I have to switch out of Safe Mode to finish installing. Nothing I see tells me I'm in safe mode. I typed Windows + R and typed in MSCONFIG. Under the Boot Tab, Safe Boot is not selected.I dont know how else to investigate this. Is this a browser issue? Or is this an issue where I'm in

Password not accepted in Safe mode

Have you tried all the above steps suggested by Sangeeta Sarkar on September 13, 2015.

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you trying to login the Microsoft account or the Local account in safe mode?
• Did you try with only safe mode or safe mode with networking?
• What is the critical error you are getting?

If you are using Windows 10. To go to safe mode you have to follow the below steps.

If you are able to go to login screen in normal mode try the below steps to go to safe mode with networking.

• 
  At the login screen click on the power symbol.
  
• 
  Hold SHIFT + Click Restart.
  
• 
  After restarting your system, select the Troubleshoot option.
  
• 
  Select advanced options under
  Troubleshoot screen.
  
• 
  Click on Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Click Restart and follow the onscreen steps to go to
  Safe Mode with networking and check if you are able to login.

Safe mode problem

To get better clarity on the issue, kindly answer the questions below:

• By saying that you have a "Safe mode problem," did you mean to say that your computer is stuck in Safe mode or are you unable to boot it to Safe mode?
• What troubleshooting steps have you attempted to resolve your concern?

If this is caused by recent programs installed on your computer, then we suggest you to run
System Restore to revert your system files to an earlier date. To run System Restore, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
• On the run command box, type "RSTRUI.EXE" and hit enter.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Make sure that you choose the restore point date when your computer was working fine. Please be advised that programs and applications installed on your computer after the restore point will be removed.

PC freezes but not in safe mode

I suggest that you do this steps in able to deep scan your PC that is affecting your GPU when inserted and if this does not fixed it then you should go buy a new GPU because it may be corrupted

YOU SHOULD PROBABLY GO TO SAFE MODE THEN SCAN USING MALWAREBYTES TO DELETE UNDELETABLE VIRUS OR TROJANS

Step 1 : Download And Install Malwarebytes

Step 2 : Go to Safe Mode here are the Steps :

1. Click Windows-button then go to On/Off Button.

2. Hold down the Shift key and click Restart.

3. Click the option Troubleshoot and then Advanced options.

4. Go to “Advanced options” and click Start-up Settings.

5. Under “Start-up Settings” click Restart.

6. Various boot options are displayed. Press 4 to go to Safe Mode

7. Windows 10 is now starting in Safe Mode.

Step 3 : when you are already in Safe Mode, Run a Full Scan on Malwarebytes then wait for it to be finished and remove all the virus detected and then Restart your pc/laptop.
