Windows 10: Can't download Gears 4 on MS Store. Error 0x8024001E

I have tried everything you might suggest. Give me something new. Also, COALITION PUT THIS GAME ON STEAM. Thanks.

Hey,

I just bought GoW4, added it to my Microsoft library. And I just can't download that piece of ****. Download stops like every five minutes, telling me that there is an error - 0x8024001E. I got to cca 75GB out of 200GB (what the hell). Now I'm just getting
the error constantly, can't download any more. I tried the wsreset.exe - didn't help. What else can I do?

I'm on PC - i7, 1050Ti, W10.

We understand how frustrating it could be when apps do not work the way they supposed and we truly appreciate that you tried to reset the Microsoft store. However, we would suggest you follow the steps mentioned below and check.

Method 1: Update Windows.

Please refer to
Update Windows 10 and try updating Windows and check

Method 2: Rename Software Distribution file.

1. Search for cmd in the search bar.
   
2. Right click on Command Prompt and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Type the following commands and make sure to press
   Enter after each command.
   

• net stop wuauserv
  
• ren c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution Softwaredistribution.old
  
• net start wuauserv
  

4. Then type Exit and try downloading the game.

Exactly what version of Windows 10 are you using?
In the taskbar search box type: winver and then hit ENTER

For example I am on version 19042.844
