Windows 10: Can't download TrendMicro security on Windows 10 ARM-based PC

Trying to download and install Trend Micro Maximum Security software. Trend sends a message " Can't download on this system" or similar. More info takes me to a Windows Internet page regarding Windows 10 ARM-based PC limitations etc.


JB Hi Fi sold us the computer and the TrendMicro security package, but looks like they are not compatible ?


Is there a fix ?

Windows 10 TrendMicro 2015 will not install

TrendMicro 2015 installs with no issues on Windows 8.1. It will not install on Windows 10. TrendMicro suggest uninstall & reinstall. That did not work. Anyone else having this issue?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

ARM-Based Windows 10 Portable PCs!? Hell Yes!

See, I would love to run Windows on this, Raspberry Pi 3B, ARM Cortex-A53 1.2 GHz 64 bit quad-core. It's my portable bread boarding rig.



But my only option is Windows 10 IoT. Which for me is basically useless. Windows on Arm won't run on my CPU, but IMHO, its a step in the right direction.
