Windows 10: Can't Drag Links from the Address Bar to Quick Links

Microsoft continues to try and be the worst OS, year after year.I know we won't go back to the glory days of Windows 7, M/S grew tired of trying to innovate and make a great operating system and instead tried to please as many people possible with.. what we've had since Vista.Anyway, it's maddening I can't do something simple and user-friendly like drag something from somewhere to somewhere else so it's convenient for me to find it when I need to. Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”

Anyway, it's maddening I can't do something simple and user-friendly like drag something from somewhere to somewhere else so it's convenient for me to find it when I need to. It's maddening that M/S tries to tell ME how I should use THEIR operating system. It's maddening that every update just brings more annoyance and frustration.

The only reason why I'm stuck on this outdated and un-cared-for platform is because all of the software that I use and pay for unfortunately are only on Windows.

I've read other discussions about this same issue and the response you get from these Microsoft "experts" are: We're sorry you're having difficulty, please use the suggestion box for your concern...

Windows 10 intermittently fails to link with website

Using Windows 10, 3 browsers Fx, Edge and Chrome will not open links intermittently, possibly 1 third of the time. An empty browser window appears with an empty address slot.

However, selecting the link “Here” (for example), and dragging the word "Here" or even an entire title link up to the address bar opens the site as it should. The fact that this occurs with 3 browsers suggests a Windows problem, not a browser problem.
Any advice on stopping this behavior will be greatly appreciated.
