Windows 10: Can't drag tabs or icons on the taskbar on Windows 10.

I can no longer drag any tabs or icons on the taskbar normally as of today. I didn't have an issue with this yesterday night or early in the morning. It just started a couple of hours ago. I have tried pretty much everything to try and fix this. I've even tried booting it up in safe mode to see if this error would go away but It still won't. I can slightly drag them but it takes like 5 tries and it looks like the icons teleport back to their original spot. I can still drag entire windows around and stuff on the desktop, just not those two things.This is an issue with my mouse, touch scree

System Icons on taskbar

Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Windows Explorer Icon in Taskbar

I am using Windows 7 64 bit

I placed an icon in the taskbar years ago. In the past I have been able to drag any folder I wished to that icon giving me a shortcut to frequently used folders. I usually had a list of 6-8 such folders.

Starting several months ago, that list of shortcuts sometimes, for no perceivable reason, disappears on boot up., In the past, it was easy to simply drag those folders to the icon and reconstruct that list. That no longer works.

When I drag a folder to the icon it does Say "Pin To Windows Explorer" but that does not happen. Can anyone suggest some way to restore that function. Perhaps there is some setting somewhere I cannot think of that needs resetting? Or something else.

NIGHTMARE icon in windows taskbar

Ok ... this is really an annoying thingy in Windows Vista that till today. My top wish list is to solve this !!! *Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:

See attached pic ... for eg. open My Computer ... icon is of course as shown - the My Computer default Vista icon ... after you browse? *swoosh* kind of black magic ... it changes to that icon with the green arrow ... browsing back to My Computer it remains like that ... with the green arrow!!!

This happens to any and all folders ! ... When you load it ... it comes up with the default folder ... after exporing through folder it changes ... and remains like that.

For info : have tried a fresh installation of Vista to make sure that no bug got in. So must be some DAMN Vista settings
