Windows 10: Can't edit Excel documents in Word on Macbook

When I copy and paste an Excel document to Word I cannot edit it once it's in Word. Also, copying and pasting from Excel to Word will not paste the whole document.

Word, Excel and PowerPoint are Office applications. There are different Office versions. You may follow the steps below to check which version of Office you are using.

• 
  Go to File Then select Account.
  
• 
  Click on About Word (Which have symbol of question mark).
  

I also suggest you to check multiple versions of Microsoft Office is installed or not in your system. You may follow the steps below:

• 
  Go to Control panel.
  
• 
  Click on programs and features.
  

Please do let us know the version of Office that you are using for further assistance.

 

Word and Excel documents are slow to open in Windows 10

Have the same problem, here are my conditions:

- Windows 10 Professional x64.

- Office 2007 Ultimate.

- Opening Word and Excel documents is slow when Word/Excel not currently open/running.

- Opening the Word/Excel document with Word/Excel already open is fast/normal.

Solution is the same as reported:

1) Disable Cortana.

2) Restart Windows.

Step 2 is very important.

 

not able to edit office documents (word/excel/ppt) in HTC mozart

i am not able to edit office documents (word/excel/ppt) received in mail.

for excel files (.xlsx), it says can't edit workbook.

for ppt (2003), it says can edit only .pptx, .pptm.



what's the problem?
