Windows 10: Can't empty clipboard... but then it works??!

Since being unfortunate enough to move from Windows 7 to 10 I get the clipboard error message a lot more often, which is just one more really annoying feature.


I'm not surprised that Windows fails like this, but what does surprise me is that having clicked OK to the message, I'm sometimes able to paste just fine, without even having to click on Copy again.


Microsoft, if it isn't on the bug list, please add. If it is, please move it up the priority list.


I mostly use Office 2010, as I did on Windows 7, where this was a less frequent problem.

Pasting from clipboard

Thank you, The first suggestion worked. The second did also provided I did not click in the Paint window first.

I'd spent some time trying to work it out for myself but was fooled by the clipboard window always closing prematurely. So thanks again.

Also thanks to Frederick, although solved, I've noted your alternative suggestion.

 

Office Clipboard: Work Content not supported (WIP)

Hi Rick,

The problem only occurs using the Office Clipboard (that is capable of remembering more copy actions), not the Windows Clipboard. And i have followed the WIP steps. And the issue is that i cannot find how to allow the Office Clipboard to allow Work content.
As the default Windows clipboard does work.

Shared clipboard not working anymore

I did all these steps in this order but it still doesn't work.

Both are in the same workgroup with the same Microsoft account.

When I press win+v it shows me that the clipboard was synced but I dont receive it on the other laptop and vice versa.

It always worked before.

I've installed O&O ShutUp10 on the other laptop once.
I removed it again but maybe this caused the problem?
