Windows 10: Can't enable GameDVR

I'm unable to enable GameDVR or bring it up with the Win+G hotkey, and found this guide here:

but when looking at the regedit section, I can't seem to get the settings to stick for some reason, and there also seem sto be some missing details. I'm super lost here, and would love GameDVR to function as it should.. Here's some screenshots:

This if of " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\ " When clicking any of these subfolders, no additional DWORD values on the right panel appear. It's always blank as shown in the image. When adding the "AllowGameDVR" DWORD, and setting the value to 1, upon restarting Windows, the value disappears. I'm adding this by clicking GameDVR, and right-clicking it, and hitting new, and then DWORD, and making the value. But as I said, it's randomly disappearing after a reboot.

And here's a screenshot of " HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore ". As you can see here, there are some values here that I can change, but when changing the "GameDVR_Enabled" to 1, the setting reverts after a reboot...

GameDVR Listing Problems (Windows 10)

When I record a video on the GameDVR application, the footage does not appear in the GameDVR listings though it appears in the location that I set it to. This means that I can not trim or upload the video within the app.

I have tried:

- Restarting computer.

- Deleting everything inside folder.

- Recording another video.

This issue could be due to the Xbox app and the GameDVR. GameDVR could affect the machine’s performance since it constantly records your gameplay. Try to disable GameDVR and check if this will improve the performance. Follow these steps to do so:

• Open Xbox app on your Windows PC.
• Sign in using your Microsoft account.
• Click on the Hamburger Menu.
• Choose Settings.
• Select GameDVR.
• Toggle it off.
