Windows 10: Can't enter admin credentials to change user settings

I have two users for my computer, I just made my main one as a "device manager" and the other one remained as a "User". Now my main user cannot be found so i cannot log in. Also when I try to access anything that needs admin rights , such as account management on control panel, I get a message to enter admin username and password with no box to enter the credentials and only a "No" button. It seems that I have locked myself out. What can I do?

To further assist you, kindly check if your credentials is set to
Admin. To set your credentials
to Admin, please follow the steps:

• 
  Go to
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Choose
  User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on
  Change your Account type.
  

If the issue persists, we suggest you to create a
local Account and set it to Administrator. To create a local account, please click this
link and set it as Admin. Use the local account to run the Defragmentation.

Remotely logoff users command with credentials

Hi areebyounus,

It's hard to tell why it's not accepting your credentials, however I can suggest an alternate solution.

Download PSTools from the following website:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/d...

Unzip the files to a new folder located C:\PSTools

Then do the following:

- Open Command Prompt as administrator

- Enter: cd C:\PSTools

- Enter: psexec.exe \\<ENTER SERVER NAME HERE> cmd

- You will then be prompted for admin credentials

Once you have entered the correct credentials (remember to use DOMAIN\USERNAME, or SERVERNAME\LOCAL_USERNAME) you will have a Command Prompt session running from that particular server. You can then do the below steps to remotely log off a user:

- Enter: query session

- Note down the session ID of the user you wish to log off

- Enter: logoff # (where # is the ID number of the user above)

Enter Network Credentials - Windows 10

I finally found that you can set these in Control Panel's User Accounts section. Select "Manage your credentials" and then select "Windows Credentials".

If there are any credentials listed you can edit and change them to reflect the same password across all your pcs.
