    Can't enter multiple Ascii characters in Notepad


    Lenovo Legion laptopWindows 11English language settingsSwedish keyboard settingsNow, the issue is that whenever I open a new .txt file in notepad I can enter a total of 1 Ascii character using the left-alt + numpad method. Attempting to enter a second character using the same method results in an unknown character box, after which the document stops accepting left-alt + numpad inputs altogether. Closing and reopening the file resolves the issue for one input, after which it breaks again. Ascii input works as normal in other programs, e g .What gives?
