Windows 10: Can't factory reset my Windows 10 Acer Aspire 5

Hello all,I recently purchased this Acer Aspire 5 slim used and I wanted to factory reset the laptop but when I click on the recovery and click the option to "Remove Everything" a pop up shows with the message "Could not find recovery environment" "Insert your windows installation or recovery media, and restart your PC with the media." I wasn't given anything like that and when I look at the Activation tab the edition this laptop has says "Windows 10 Enterprise."I'm not sure what to do or where to go to fix this issue.**I will say when I checked to see if there were update it says I can upgrad

My acer aspire esi-512-c32a won't factory reset!!!

Please try the following to Factory Reset your Acer Laptop to Windows 8.1:

Step 1: Start Acer Aspire laptop, and when you see Acer screen, press F2 to enter BIOS screen. In Main option, set D2D Recovery as “Enabled”.

Tips: This has to be made sure, otherwise, system restore would not complete successfully.

Step 2: Press F10 to save and exit BIOS. When you see Acer screen again, press ALT + F10. Until “Acer eRecovery” option appears, choose it
and press Enter.

Step 3: Select “Restore System to Factory Default Settings”.

Step 4: Now that may needs to type password if you have set password for ET.

After you type correct password, make sure data would be covered and click “OK” to begin system restore.

Step 5: Until system restore reaches 100%, message “Recovery has been completed” pops up. Click “OK” to restart laptop.

Step 6: Don’t shut off and wait for some minutes.

Step 7: System basic settings window pops up.

Step 8: Read the license agreement and agree it by ticking “I agree license agreement”.

Step 9: Type user and password, and confirm password.

Step 10: Choose “Recommended Settings”. Type previous password, and press Enter.

Reset Acer Travelmate to factory settings

Hi all, I have an Acer Travelmate with Win10 (1607), I would like to save Win 10 to a stick, then reset the laptop back to factory settings and then reinstall Win10. There is no program on the laptop that requires saving. Any advice or suggestions, not to technical, would be very much appreciated, thanks Roy

 

Acer Aspire 5560 not upgrading to windows 10

That Error Code seems to be most frequently associated with/pointing to incompatible Drivers. The Acer Aspire 5560 Model is only listed on the Acer Site under 'Legacy Hardware' as far as I can tell, which suggests they may not be too interested in providing
further firmware/driver updates, but you could try asking on their Forums. According to this site ( Acer Aspire 5560, 5560G Notebook Win7, Win8 Driver, Utility | Notebook Drivers ) the last updates were released in 2012!
