Windows 10: can’t find any way to reset the whole laptop to factory.

Split from this thread. I’m experiencing a similar problem with windows 7, only I’m unable to sign in after fixing the error installing windows message yet I know the password and can’t find any way to reset the whole laptop to factory. Any suggestions for help would be much appreciated

Restore Windows 8.1 laptop to Factory

I have a DELL XPS 15 (9530) La[top that I am selling. I need to reset it to factory. I went through all the steps until it asked me for a Windows disk.
This laptop does not have an optical drive. Is there a way around this? The person is coming tomorow 08/01/2020 to pick it up.

 

Windows 7 Laptop - Cannot reset to factory settings

I have been trying to reset my laptop to sell and followed instructions to reset to factory settings as below

1. Select the category “System and Security” in the control panel.
   
2. In the section “Backup and restore” you can find “Recover system settings on your computer” and then click on “Advanced recovery settings”.
   
3. Then, you need to click on “Return your computer to factory condition
   

I do not have the option Return your computer to factory condition in step 3

Any ideas?

I also have the added challenge that my keyboard does not work as I spilt water on it.

This has taken me hours to try and resolve!!
