Windows 10: Can't find driver for Insignia USB 3.0 HDMI adapter for 2nd monitor

I'm operating on 8.1 OS and directions to install driver manually are for 10 OS. Any suggestions of finding a driver that will work with my older OS? Thanks so much!

USB to HDMI adapter and display issue

I have two LG monitors and the display was at 2560x1080 on both of them. One is connected to my HP laptop's HDMI port and the display setting for it is the correct 2560x1080 setting. The other is connected through an Insignia USB> HDMI adapter and was also displaying the 2560x1080 setting. I had to disconnect the USB port and now the display is set to 1920x1080 and the other monitor connected through the HDMI port is still at 2560x1080. When I go to settings there is not an option to change the USB monitor to 2560x1080.

I'm on Windows10

I plugged the adapter into a different USB port

I unplugged the monitor and plugged it back in

I have deleted the Insignia HDMI graphics card and restarted my laptop.

I have a Citrix connection to connect to a virtual machine that displays the correct 2560x1080 on both monitors.

Night Light not working on Monitor with USB to HDMI adapter

Hello,

I am using a Dell Micro 3070 with 3 monitors. One monitor is plugged into the HDMI port, the other 2 monitors use HDMI cables with an HDMI to USB adapter. The Night Light setting works on the monitor plugged directly into the HDMI port but not on the monitors using the adapters. Is this by design or is there a way to make the Night Light function work on all 3 monitors?

3 monitors won't display in settings windows 10

Thanks for trying but this was not the problem. I have it solved. I had a hdmi splitter for the 2 external monitors, which was suggested by Staples. An hdmi splitter is stupid because whatever is on 1 monitor is on the 2nd monitor, DUH, it's a splitter.
And this is why in "Display Settings" only my laptop monitor & 1 monitor was shown. Solved by returning the hdmi splitter, plugging in 1 monitor directly to my laptop hdmi socket and getting a usb to hdmi adapter which plugs into my laptop usb socket & my
2nd monitor plugs into the hdmi side of the adapter. Instantly all 3 monitors were shown in "Display Settings".
