Windows 10: cant find hdd in bios or windows

Discus and support cant find hdd in bios or windows in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I screwed up today. I tried to ad a partition, that didn't show in my folder so I went to storage setting made one, but that wasn't right and made 2...     cant find hdd in bios or windows


    I screwed up today. I tried to ad a partition, that didn't show in my folder so I went to storage setting made one, but that wasn't right and made 2 thing of that drivem and when I deleted them both, the hdd went missing. I reinstalled windows and still nothing. its still missing after tring to use windows memory diounestic, and nothing happened. cant get it to work at all, and its just sitting in there, spinning but doing nothing. any help with this would be greatly apriceated as I have no idea what happened and what I did to have it go missing from my pc.

    256gb sata3 ssd inland pro

    USB HDD: IN BIOS

    Hi AJAY, in modern BIOS (UEFI) it is normal to have USB devices listed, such as USB HDD without drive being plugged in.

    In older Legacy BIOS, a drive would have to be plugged in for it to be listed in BIOS, but not no londer . . .

    Hi,

    What is the make and model of your computer?

    I suggest you to check in BIOS setting whether both the HDD are listed there. You may get in touch with your computer manufacturer or refer to the user manual on how to enter BIOS settings.

    If it is listed in BIOS, you may check whether you are able to see both the HDD in Disk Management. Follow the steps to check:

    Press Windows Key + X.

    Click on Disk Management.

    Please reply us with the required information to assist you further.
