Windows 10: Can't find my lenovo laptop on my devices in my Microsoft account for recovery key

I have a lenovo laptop, and I need the recovery key but I went to my devices and it does not show up. How would I be able to get my bitlocker recovery key?

Laptop not listed in Devices in Microsoft Account

I would suggest you to try the steps below to make sure the laptop has been verified.

1. Sign in to the main computer with your Microsoft Account.

2. Press Windows key + I to open settings

3. Click on "accounts" and select "your account" on the left pane.

4. Check if the option to verify your identity is available.

5. If so, click "verify" and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. Once that is done, begin the setup steps given in the article
and check again.

Laptop not listed in Devices in Microsoft Account

Hi. When I log into my Microsoft account and check under Devices, I only see 3 out of 4 devices that I use with the account. Listed are two nokia windows phones running win 8.1 and 1 hp stream 11 laptop running windows 10.

My main hp-15 laptop running windows 10 is not listed.

I've tried the steps here:

Add a trusted device to your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

to make it a trusted device but it doesn't make my hp-15 laptop listed.

Bitlocker recovery key missing

I have a laptop that is booting up asking for the recovery key. When I log into my Microsoft account on another device it does list this computer in the devices, but when I select to manage bitlocker recovery keys, this computer is not listed? Where can I get the recovery key?
