Windows 10: Can't find Windows 10 Pro I bought from Store

Hello,


I bought Windows 10 Pro from the Store, so I could upgrade from Windows Home. My order was confirmed in my email. However, I can't find any link to a product key, or download page. Nor has my computer automatically installed it, even though it did install some updates yesterday.


When I click on the Windows 10 Pro link in my order history, it tells me the browser page is unavailable.


Please advise.

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”

I explained this to you earlier in another post that there is a bug causing Store Upgrades to Pro to list themselves as Enterprise.

Everyone else with this unfortunate bug has had it taken care of by following my advice. Please do that now.
