Windows 10: Can't find Windows Activate Key from online purchase in 2015

I purchased Windows 10 back in 2015 ordered online and order details are still in my order history It cost $199 so it was clearly the the whole OS licence. I used it on my macbook pro which I had partitioned and used Boot Camp. My need for this ended a couple of years ago so I unpartitioned my macbook then and obviously this removed my Windows OS install. I have recently needed to use Windows OS again for another client and I have decided to use Parallels this time but while it has installed Windows for me it still needs to be activated. There is no difference between the OEM disc and the Retail disc with Windows 7. A retail disc will accept a OEM or Retail key, and vise versa.

If the OEM Key wasn't going to work with the disc you have, it would have stopped you during the install when it first asked you for the key, not during activation.

What is likely the problem is that, since the OEM version has already been activated once, it is failing activation again. Activate it over the phone using the option given to you on the failed activation screen, and you shouldn't have a problem activating it.
