Windows 10: Can't gain access after using the Recovery key.

    Can't gain access after using the Recovery key.


    Lenovo with Windows 11 enabled Bitlocker after an update and restart. I am unable to use fingerprint, pin, or password to gain access to the PC.

    So I need to use my recovery key to get into my MS account to gain access to my bitlocker key to gain access to my encrypted files Can't gain access after using the Recovery key. ;)

    Please share the details.


    • What do you mean by “cannot gain access”?

    • Are you able to boot in to login page?

    • What is the status when you enter the password?

    • Do you see any error code or error message on the screen?


    As a work around, if you are using Microsoft Account, I suggest you to connect with internet and check if it helps.
