Windows 10: Can’t gain access to my own pc that I was using perfectly fine since this morning

Hey I need help people so I been using my computer for so many years and last night after doing my usual play games watch netlfix and YouTube etc I turned of my pc as per and this morning when I turned it on it popped up saying I need to sign in “other user” I never had to sign in before or log in to gain access it usually just goes straight to my desktop apps etc but this morning I been trying to guess what my username and password is and it’s wrong so I thought ok reset password put the new password in and it’s wrong I then went to a new sign in option and tried resetting then said NO drive

I installed Microsoft 10 on my PC yesterday and used the computer, today I cannot gain access. What do I need to do? Does it need to be connected to the Internet to gain access?

 

How to gain access to the WindowsApps folder?


To gain write access you need to do two things:

1. Change ownership (it should be "TrustedInstaller") to an admin account
2. Grant that account write access

I'm not sure if it works with every admin account or if you need the "real" admin account which is hidden. It can be revealed by entering the following command in elevated cmd: net user Administrator /active:yes (or active:no do hide it again).
