Windows 10: Can't Get Any Printer to Run on my win 10 Alienware laptop

Hello everyone, I recently got an HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401 printer. Upon hooking it up to my Alienware 17 R5 laptop via USB it connects instantly with no issues. However, if I want to print a document the job goes into the printer queue and then instantly disappears without printing. The first thing I did was install the universal HP driver, that didn't fix the problem. I then installed the HP Print and Scan Doctor, that did not find any problems with the printer or the subsequent drivers. I then connected the printer to another laptop and it worked perfectly.

I then decided to do a complete reinstall of all the drivers and programs associated with the printer but to no result. After that, I force stopped the spool and cleared the Spool Printer folder via the command prompt and rebooted it with no luck. I did notice, however, that if I send a job to my printer it does wake-up from sleep. At that point, I gave up and hooked up a new Canon printer but it also didn't work. However, when I connected my ancient HP Laserjet 3200 to my computer and surprisingly it worked. At this point, I'm not quite sure if I need to repair my System or something else. I have spent countless hours solving this issue with no luck... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

laptop keeps losing printer

• Do you get any error messages when using the devices?
• How do you uninstall and reinstall the printer?

Let's run the Printer Troubleshooter in Control Panel to collect more information about the problem. It may also fix the issue since Windows troubleshooters are designed to correct the issues they find on the system. Follow these steps to run the suggested
tool:

• Click on Start.
• Type Troubleshooting then press Enter.
• On the left panel, click on View all.
• Choose Printer and allow the troubleshooter to run.

Alienware Windows 10 Upgrade

I have upgraded my Alienware to Windows 10 and continue to get a Runtime error message and my networked printer does not work from my Alienware anymore. I have tried reinstalling the printer drivers and having the printer found on the network and nothing
seems to work. Any suggestions?
