Windows 10: Can't get into OneDrive Settings After Pausing it.

Hello,Right now I have unlinked OneDrive. I will link it again to fix this issue. I tried to stop OneDrive from syncing Electronic Arts files. One solution is to pause it and get into Settings. However, once I pause it, Setting is greyed out. How do I fix this so that when I put OneDrive on pause, so that I can go into Settings without it being greyed out?

Where is "Pause" on OneDrive?

i get the menu you show: "view online", "settings", etc.

But "Pause" is not on the menu.

In my previous installation of OneDrive, OneDrive automatically paused sync'ing on a metered connection. Now it does not. It only suggests that i pause it myself. Plz see image in my first post, above.

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

I use Groove Music and OneDrive hasn't ran again. I suspect Office 365 is behind restarting it. There might be a setting in Office 365 somewhere to disable OneDrive.


This will get rid of one drive. Put it in a .bat and run it:
