Windows 10: Can't get into Windows Defender

Hello,First off, I'm on an old windows laptop while my current one is being fixed. That being said, I went into Windows Defender and I got the following message Note: both laptops are from two different companies. Otherwise, I don't have any access to IT for the old one. How do I fix this?:

My windows defender got hacked by viruses. and now i cant start windows defender..

Microsoft Defender has been disabled and its executables have been deleted by malware.

Please do the following:

Step 1: Run the fixlist below.

• Download fixlist.txt
  

• Save Fixlist.txt in the same folder where EnglishFRST64.exe is.
  
• Close all program windows.
  

• Launch the Farbar Scanner tool and click "Fix".
  
• Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.
  
• Reboot Windows when prompted.
  

Step 2: Run DISM and SFC

From the admin Command Prompt, run:

• dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  

and

• sfc /scannow
  

Reboot Windows.

Check the status of Defender.
