Windows 10: Can't get microphone and sound from headphones to work at the same time on Windows

Greetings,

I have MPOW-59 Bluetooth headphones that I have connected to my PC and they have a microphone I would like to use during gaming sessions but it does not work. If i open sound settings > Microphone privacy settings and turn on "Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" I loose the sound from my headphones and as far as I can tell nobody can hear me again.

I double checked on two games and if "Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" is ON my microphone indeed works but I get no sound from my headphones and IF its OFF I have sound but the microphone does not work.

I've been messing with the "Sound Control Panel" Settings switching the "Default Device" and the "Default Communications Device" and I don't know how but I actually managed to make it so that I have both sound and the mic was on, BUT the sound was ABSOLUTELY horrific and I could barely hear anything and the sounds were pretty distorted so that is not going to be an option. So I'm still waiting on suggestions.

Has someone had this problem or any ideas how to fix it?

Headphone microphone not working.

no plugged in cable


Plugged in cable (in front of pc)


Selected headphone


Selected Mic in


Clicked on cog (its same with Mic in and Headphone)


Wrench (also same with headphone and Mic in)


This is all i know btw when i click headphone it says mic is unplugged and when i do Mic in it says speakers are unplugged and mic is on.

 

Headphone, earphone and microphone are not in Sound Control Panel.

Windows 10 64 bit








Stereo mix and line & mic at front or rear panel don't work too.

I somehow managed to get my headphone to play the same thing as my speaker at the same time but that's as far as i got.

Sorry about the long response time. Work sucks sometime.

I tried both a headset microphone and the usb microphone on another Windows 10 computer. It did not pick up any microphone signal and was showing the same emulated sound output as I noted before.

That is what is really bothering me. Both computers detect the microphones, yet output is being directed to them as well as any plugged in speaker/headphone.
