Windows 10: can't get MS FS 2020 to run? I've heard something about an administrator. Could that be my...

I've downloaded FS 2020. I can put in a flight departure and destination but then when I click fly, it knocks me out of the program. In fairness, it accepts input very slowly, very very slowly. I have a GTX 1080 external game box connected to my dell 2and 1 xps 15 inch with 16gb of ram and a 3.10 ghz processor which is less than two years old. I can run x plane 11 with it, albeit sometimes not at 20fps. Is my laptop and GTX just not fast enough or am I not doing something. It's happened at least 6 times.

i ve tried everything:with atiflash from dos,winflash.step by step with bios powercolor hd 6970 from the database.
nothing,doesn´t work.any suggestion????

I am a pilot

I am trying to get MS FS-X up and going to use as a desk top simulator

But am having a problem with one knob. The MS FS-X G1000 FMS knob will not work to scroll.

I can identify all 5 point and click spots on the screen for this knob but they just do nothing.

It happens with all three G 1000 aircraft and on two different computers

I am using Windows 10

I have uploaded SP1 and SP2

Will FS-X Steam Edition solve this problem?

If not any suggestions?

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?
