Can't get NASes to work Wirelessly On Win10 Pro.

Hello Everyone,I moved house and a few days ago they came to install my broadband. It is the same company I used before, I had to take the router with me, so, no change there, no change in credentials, everything as of old, however....I have 2 NAS drives, both Buffalo, but different types, they always worked in the past, and as I mentioned before, no settings have been changed, but Windows just won't recognise them wirelessly anymore and I can't for the life of me remember how I made them work in the past. They do work with an Ethernet cable, sometimes they ar seen but do not work in Windows E

    :)

  2. Win10 Pro

Hi, I bought a Win10 upgrade license on my old laptop. At the time I had a lot of issues upgrading the OEM Win10 Home as the upgrade purchase didn;t come with a product key. After lots of phone calls with MS they eventually provided me with a product key
and the laptop was upgraded to Win10 Pro.

I now have a new laptop and still require the Pro functionality. Following the steps here (which also tells me my Win10 Pro upgrade license is transferrable):

How to Transfer your Windows 10 License to a New Computer

the OEMCan't get NASes to work Wirelessly On Win10 Pro. :DM Win10 Home didn't upgrade using the MediaCreationTool (it just offers to install Win10 Home), and the System > Upgrade and Settings > Activation upgrade function doesn't accept the product key I've purchased.

Any help would be appreciated - although useful Win10 is awful to upgrade and MS seem to have deprecatated a lot of their contact options.

  3. Add printer error 0x0000000d on Win10

I see that there are a lot of incidents of this error in the community forums, but none on a Win10 computer. Looking through the older responses, none seem to work on a Win10. I'm using a Surface Pro 1 running up-to-date Win10, trying to connect wirelessly
to an HP networked printer at work. I've been able to connect to this printer in the past, but just today when I went to the office and tried to print, I got an error message and found that I couldn't connect to the printer. I removed the printer from my Devices
and Printers and tried reconnecting, but I finally get the error 0x0000000d.

I am on a BYOD program, so my IT can not fix this problem on my computer.

The steps that my IT has suggested for connecting to the printer, and which worked in the past:

    1. Navigate to "Add a printer"

    2. Click "The printer that I want isn't listed"

    3. Select a shared printer by name

    4. Type in printer address, "http://..."

    5. Login with my company credentials

I recently changed both my Windows and company password, so may be related to this?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
