    Can’t get past BSOD


    Hello. The BSOD showed up a few days ago. I can’t get past it to create/download a copy of the windows reinstallation software and want to save my files before doing a full reset. Will be buying a new usb to save them to since current ones don’t seem compatible, but is there another way to get a hard copy of the windows installation disk so I can try that first?

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

    This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

    Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


    I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best thermal paste

    Most decent thermal paste is about all the same (1-2 degree difference). Without knowing the two listed, (I use MX-2), I would suggest going with the one that is non-conductive.

    Help with heat sink thermal paste for h100i 1800x

    Use the paste you brought. Also I would have suggest artic x4 unless yours is better but yes use yours.

    Actually check the temp with the factory standard factory paste first and list the temps
