Windows 10: Can’t get past the login page of Windows 10 on my Toshiba laptop

I’ve had my toshiba laptop for a couple of years now, and have never had any problems with it. Recently its been a bit glitchy, but today i turned it on logged on, but i can’t get any further than that. Theres just a black screen with the cursor in the loading position, like when its in a blue circle. Every couple of minutes, the bottom bit of the home screen lights up and then disappears again. What do i do?

Toshiba Satellite L755-S5153 Windows 10 Drivers

Laptop originally had Windows 7 Home, but was upgraded to 10 a couple years ago. In the past several months I've been plagued with System Interrupts every 10 or so minutes, during which the laptop is unusable. The General Support forum members have suggested a driver issue. Going into Device Manager and right clicking each driver always results in me being told that the best driver is already installed.

Going to Toshiba's driver page and entering my serial number prompts me to select an OS. Windows 10 is not listed as an option.

Would love to know which driver is causing the issue. and how to resolve it.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 Drivers for Toshiba Laptop


Can someone please get me a list of the required drivers for Windows 10 for my Toshiba laptop.

Also, can someone please assist me with my Toshiba Face Recognition feature? Whenever I try to unlock my computer with my face, it is not recognizing it. There has to be a reason why it isn't working. There is no tape over the webcam lens housing.

My Specs are listed in the Specs area of this forum.

Help would be greatly appreciated!
