Hey everyone, so I've been getting a WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\atiadlxx.dll error constantly. So I thought it was probably a driver issue, can't update video drivers because of this issue though. I recently wiped my PC of everything except windows. Thought maybe it could have effected something in the BIOS?

After finding out that my Corsair keyboard needed a BIOS compatibility button, and that it was F12 and not DEL to get in, i can't get the screen to display anything. I've been in the BIOS before, but not since the wipe. The screen just stays black, the computer is on, I'm pretty sure it's at the BIOS screen but not positive. It gets to windows no problem if I just let it boot.

I've tried plugging in the HDMI to the Mobo itself, and into all 4 HDMI slots on both GPUs. I also tried removing the 8pin power connector on the 2nd gpu, but the screen stays black. Any ideas? It's a gigabyte board with 2 RX480 8GB cards in it with an Intel i7 6700k slightly OC.

    :)

Windows 10 Computer Turns On Automatically at Random

Nothing in my power settings nor in my BIOS is showing anything that it is automatically starting up via the updates.

I did fine something in Windows Event Viewer that shows itself starting up around the times that I find the computer turning itself on. I can't make heads or tails what is causing the problem though as each description is different for each event line and
nothing points directly to what each event is mentioning most of the time.

Anyone know how to interpret the log lines in the event viewer?

    Thank you.

  3. HDD not showing in file explorer.

It's connected properly and it shows up in the BIOS. I just can't get it to show up in the file explorer. I can see it in disk manager, I just can't, once again, get it to show in the file explorer.

Update: I checked the disk manager and went to properties. The device status says "This device is working properly." It still isn't showing in the file explorer :/

    Hi SirPandaEsq

Do you have a regular keyboard. According to your manual Del is the Setup key and f12 is the boot manu.

Is you boot to safe mode then you could run DDU to clear your system of all existing ATI drivers.

To start process hold shift key down and click restart. This will take you to Advance Startup Options.

Boot to Advanced Startup Options in Windows 10

DDU can be found a Major Geeks.

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/deta...installer.html

You can then install your new drivers.

DEL would seem to be the way in to the UEFI/BIOS with F12 being a route into the specific area of Boot Devices in the UEFI.

If that fancy keyboard is not standard and re-assigns Function keys then you will have to work out what are the equivalent key presses, and whether that function key driver is loaded or not.

A standard basic keyboard is useful tool at this point.

Another way in to the UEFI is Windows 10 Settings.
    Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced start-up > Restart now > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware settings.
(there are different routes to do the same thing)

You can remove both the Graphics Cards and use the Intel iGPU HD Graphics, plug your monitor into that MOBO HDMI socket.
That eliminates any added PCI-E Graphic Cards or driver problem.
Then when running OK go back to dealing with the Graphics Cards.
