Windows 10: Cant get to password input

i was trying to log onto my desktop today that runs on windows 11 and i couldnt. Anytime i would press a key it would just show the screen moving up like the animation for the password input but it would just go back to the lock screen no matter what i pressed or how many times i did. Ive done ctrl alt del but that does nothing and i looked for other stuff but nothing is similar to my situation. Ive restarted my computer many times but im still not sure. Everytime i turn off the pc from the button though it shows the password input for a second but it doesnt let me input anything or click befo

You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

Lost My Administrator Password

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

Admin password unknown and missing files after upload


Ok, I know these questions have been asked, but I have tried everything I can understand.
Need to be spoken like a noob - step by step please.
Win10 put on my system everything initially fine, then discovered files missing - tried to install a recover program to be frustrated by a prompt to input an admin password with User [USER-PC\USER]
I have tried every password ever used.
I have tried going to cmd prompt
I cant install anything to circumnavigate because I cant get past this dialogue.

any suggests?
