Windows 10: Can't hear any audio via remote desktop except the one from the explorer volume slider

Win10 10.0.19044.1889I'm not able to remotely hear anything else than the sound Explorer does when sliding the volume control in task bar:Hence, regarding "audio" from my client/local side... the RDP file config seems fine yes, it's set to redirect audio and nothing related to NAT/firewallBy the way, I followed the steps answered in this already locked thread: No sound on edge - Microsoft Community just to no avail - and checking the Playback settings while playing any video or soond clip - be in Edge or VLC.exe for instance - it shows like this:Even if I issue an "echo several ctrl-Gs" in

No Audio Slider & Notification Center


Just did a clean install of 10162, but now when I click on the volume control or notification icons nothing happens. The volume works, but I must right click the volume icon and open the volume mixer to control the volume. There is no audio slider. The notification center doesn't do anything, whether I right or left click it.

Any suggestions?

Windows 10 Volume Mixer fails to keep System Sounds muted over Remote Desktop Connection

The problem:

after having muted the System Sounds on the remote desktop machine, it shall unmute itself after several seconds. This pattern is persistent.

The physical setting:

I use my laptop at work, and use Remote Desktop Connection to access my desktop machine left in my apartment.

The software setting:

I have enabled Remote audio through the Remote Desktop Connection, and chose Remote audio playback --> Play on this computer. Thus, I get audio streaming on my laptop at work.

My attempt:

I have tried to find a way to mute System Volumes through a shortcut, and the following pages appears to be helpful:

1. HowToGeek suggested to create a shortcut with the following executable command:
   
   “C:\Path\To\nircmd.exe” mutesysvolume 2
   
2. The same source also points me to the shortcut for opening the Volume Mixer. %SystemRoot%\System32\SndVol.exe. Yet, I failed to find a stable way to mute System Sounds through AutoHotKey.
   

The problem for the suggested approach is that, on Windows 10, nircmd.exe no longer take the option "mutesysvolume 2" as designed. Instead of toggling the System Volumes, it is toggling the Device Volume. This is different from what the specs have suggested: NirCmd - Windows command line tool

 

Windows 10 volume slider not changing volume on YouTube videos and Spotify

I've had this weird issue for some time now that the windows 10 audio slider won't change the loudness of a video. That means when I click on the volume up or down button the slider says that the audio changed, but I hear no difference. It even plays when
the slider says that the audio is muted.
