    Can't hear any sound from Speaker or Headphones


    I'm gonna tell my story firstI'm currently using ASUS TUF Gaming F15, this laptop include with DTS:X Ultra in it, so that i can use full feature of DTS:X Ultra in this laptop, but in several month after i'm using it, the DTS:X showing a problem, which is written that the DTS:X app can't work if Headphones is not connected to the laptop even though my headphones is connected to it, and i can hear the sound from my laptop to my headphones, but still the DTS:X Ultra App is saying that my headphones is not connected. because of that i can't use DTS:X ultra even though i really love this app, so i'

    No sound from speakers/headphones

    Disconnect the front panel headphone/mic jacks from the motherboard and then see if the rear panel GREEN speaker jack works (either with speakers or headset). This is in case the front panel jack is causing no audio out. Power off the PC before opening and disconnecting the front panel audio.

    The connector for the front panel audio is listed as #21 on the motherboard drawing (below).

    Hi, what sort of headphones are they? Plain ordinary analogue.. USB..?
    Do they require a driver? If so, is it installed ok?

    There are several threads about headphone issues on this forum, so suggest you also try searching the forum for 'headphones'. May give you a clue.
