Can't identify reason for PC bluescreening

Hi,my PC bluescreens a lot, but I cannot identify the reason why. It can happen at any time, including when there's nothing running, during shut-down and/or during start-up. I followed the instructions from the following post: What is the reason for the blue screen? - Microsoft Community Here is the link to my minidump files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Jtt0ehJ3sx1d8ebqwtOMvrTVvRPWhxrN/view?usp=drive_linkHere is the problem signature of the most recent bluescreen according to reliability history: SourceWindowsSummaryShut down unexpectedlyDate‎08/‎09/‎2024 00:13StatusNot&n

  2. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

  3. Permanent bluescreen due to IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    Hi again,

Identifying the process that lead to the bluescreen would be a worthwhile next step.

Nirsoft's bluescreenview would be my go-to.

Frequent bluescreens with no apparent reason

    Hello Rutger,

Most blue screen errors are caused by faulty or out-of-date drivers, or memory problems which seems to be true based on the minidumps you provided in your original post.

At this point in time, what we want to do is perform troubleshooting to further isolate the issue and identify what's causing the blue screen errors so that we can find a permanent fix. We suggest running the Memory Diagnostic Tool to help us check for possible
memory problems in your PC, use the Driver Verifier to find faulty drivers, and run the System File Checker (SFC.exe) to automatically find and fix corrupted system files.

    To run Windows Memory Diagnostics:

    • Click on Start, Search, or Cortana, and then type
      memory.
    • Click on Windows Memory Diagnostics Desktop app.
    • If you choose Restart now and check for problems, make sure that you have saved any work in progress in your PC. If you don't have free time, you can choose
Check for problems the next time I start my computer to run the tool the next time your start your PC.

To use the Driver Verifier, refer to this forum article by ZigZag3143 (MS-MVP)
    for the steps.

To use the System File Checker tool, refer to this support article for the steps.

Additionally, it would also help if you could remove peripherals when starting your PC. Peripherals such as external hard drives, dongles, or USBs are also known to cause blue screen errors due to their built-in drivers.

Let us know how it turns out.
