Windows 10: Can't increase font size in Paint above 14 point

    Can't increase font size in Paint above 14 point


    I tried right clicking on the Windows and running the PowerShell reinstall as recommended in a prior post. Seemed to work yesterday but today the same problem is back. Ran the reinstall again, got some error messages and problem is not solved.

    Can't increase font size in Paint larger than 22

    Windows 11 on new computer.

    I can't increase the font size past 22 on the 'Type' feature in Paint. I have increased the text box and the size of the canvas. Neither of those options have worked. I have closed out of paint and gone back in and the issue still occurs. :/ Is there an update or driver update for Windows Paint? I use it for crafty things.

    We would like to know more about this concern. Please provide the following information:

    • Are you using Windows 10 when using Paint?
    • What happens when you click the Size option to increase the size of
      Rubber? Does it allow you to select the largest size?
    • Can you give us a screenshot showing the Size options available on Paint?
