Windows 10: Can't install 2024-07 updates.

I can't install these updates: 1. 2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB5039895 - Install error - 0x80070017 Also it get's stuck on 44% and fails.2. 2024-07 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5040527 - Install error 0x80070017

Windows won't let me install a 2024/07 Cumulative Update

I was on my laptop and proceeded to update Windows 11 to the latest version possible, like BIOS updates, Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool updates, etc.

But there's a catch: I'm having issues with installing a Cumulative Windows Update.

After installing every software update possible, I let my laptop sit for a while to install a more recent 2024/07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 23H2 (KB5040442).

That didn't go quite well, it was still stuck at a 2024/06 Cumulative Update, and after I checked for updates, I realized that the Windows 11 23H2 cumulative update (KB5040442) has a "Download and install error" message, maybe that's the reason why.

So can you pls tell me how to fix this to never happen again? Thanks.

 

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?
