Windows 10: Can't install a game on my 9 year old sons account.

I opened the Microsoft store on my son's laptop using his account and requested to buy Roblox. I got an email asking to approve. I approved it from my phone. Went back to my son's laptop and nothing changed in the mocrosoft store. On his new HP windows laptop, I added an admin account for me, logged in as mew. Opened the store I see nothing about a request. I reopened my email and clicked the approve button. This was 1 DAY after the request. What do I see next . . . but of course, this request has expired after 7 days. WHAT? it was one day ago, not 7!!! So clearly there is an issue, but since

• Did you change your account to a Microsoft Account?
• Which email ID did you provide to change your account to a Microsoft Account?
• Do you get two different accounts in the login screen?

I suggest you to enable the built-in Administrator account from the steps provided below and manage the account from the built-in admin account.

• Press Windows key + X and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the below command:

Net user administrator active:yes

3. Restart the computer and login to the built-in Administrator account.

4. Change the account type which is turned as a Child Account.

5. Sign-out from the built-in administrator account and login to the other account which is made as the Administrator and check for status.

After creating a new Administrator account, disable the built-in Administrator account by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the below command:

Net user administrator active:no

Web Blocking for an 8 Year Old

Your suggestions have not solved my problem yet. But, I first have a more basic problem.

I went to the suggested site and then set up an account for my 8 year old son and signed him up for an email account as a family member. I received an email welcoming him to the family and he shows up in my family list. I turned on the age appropriate
restrictions and listed cnn.com to block. when I go to his account, there are no restrictions at all. I can get to cnn.com and I can go to sites about **** for teens. What am I doing wrong? Is thee a setting I am missing?

I also suggest some learning motivation games. Maybe a 1st grader's math/reading/science? If your wanting simply a game then I suggest something she likes(ie cartoon, soccer, or whatever).
